[Revised description after spine split, price lowered] Condition is unfortunately poor. The book is collated and complete however the inner front hinge is fully split; spine and front board is loose from text block. Outer cloth completely split along upper spine hinge; rubbing, edgewear, and corner wear present. Presentation stamps on endpapers. Title and first few leaves creased at fore-edge; ink stain to pp. 288–289. Gutter exposed in places, with a full split at pp. 370–371. Light age-toning, some thumb marks, scattered creasing (e.g. pp. 441–446), and rough fore-edges from opened leaves.
