Two deluxe special bindings in good condition from 1888 and 1892. Incredibly vivid and beautiful blue/gold marbling, which is also present across all page edges.
Gods and Heroes has fared worse of the two; it has some loose signatures and two stains within, pictured. The covers are gold embossed with the emblem from the school (Warren Hill, Eastbourne) who gave these as prizes.
Contains a prize sticker awarded at "Xmas" and "July 2" to Christopher Goschen in 1891 and 1892 by the Head-Master.
