One of the most beautifully drawn tarot decks in existence, in my opinion. Created by Jean-Baptiste Alliette in the late 18th century, here reproduced in the original, pleasing to handle, 6.5cm x 12.5cm rectangular format.
1969 by BP Grimaud, printed in France. With the duel-language text on the box and a slightly more matt-finish than some also produced in 1969.
Box has a common tear to the edges of one flap, as well as some light marks and one bumped corner. It is truly rare for the box to be in condition as fine as this, even with that one tear. The iconic bright yellow colour is undimmed. Cards are like-new with no issues to report, as is the book.
