A first impression of the fourth edition published by Aquarian Press in 1966, this copy has some foxing throughout. The back cover of the book, advertising other work by Dion Fortune, is stained. The spine is somewhat torn, but the binding is reasonably sound.
There is an owners stamp on the inverse of the front cover, and an incorrect pencil note on the first page claiming the book is a "1st paperback edition".
