Attractively bound in black leather with ornate gilt decoration on covers and spines, these good condition pocket-sized editions were published circa 1920 by Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent & Co. Ltd., in London.

There is minor wear to spine ends; though the bindings are perfectly sound. Gilt-topped pages are generally clean apart from some light foxing. Each volume bears a prize bookplate from the Derbyshire Mining Students’ Association on the front endpaper. Pocket-sized format.
