In the shop for the eighth time, the rare and beautiful "Golden Dawn Tarot" deck.
Illustrated by Robert Wang under the direction of Dr. Israel Regardie to reveal the secrets of the The Secret Order of the Golden Dawn, this deck is based on the original 19th-century designs of S. L. MacGregor Mathers previously unrevealed to outsiders.
Deck printed in Switzerland, box in the USA. Copy is a first edition, third impression from 1978. Cards printed in 1977, as shown in the bottom corner of the verso.
Box has some bumps, rubbing and grazing. One flap is missing. Has a sticker from the original distributor. Book is very clean and in great condition with only some creasing.
The glaring issue to note is bookworm (long since left the object) holes in the box and on one card. All pictured. Otherwise it is a beautiful copy and the cards are practically pristine. I have reduced the price because of this issue.
