A popular item in the shop, the rare and beautiful Golden Dawn Tarot deck.
Illustrated by Robert Wang under the direction of Dr. Israel Regardie to reveal the secrets of the The Secret Order of the Golden Dawn, this deck is based on the original 19th-century designs of S. L. MacGregor Mathers previously unrevealed to outsiders.
Deck printed in Switzerland, box in the USA. Copy is a first edition, fifth impression from 1978. Cards printed in 1977, as shown in the bottom corner of the verso.
Box has some bumps, creasing and rubbing in the usual places for a used deck, though less extreme than most that I see. All flaps are attached and not torn, again unusual.
The cards are almost entirely in excellent condition, very rarely marked and if ever only mildly. Two cards have mild bumping to a corner, one pictured. Reduced due to this, though it is a very minor issue.
