1969 Samuel Weiser Edition of this influential tarot deck designed and overseen by Aleister Crowley then painted by artist Lady Frieda Harris, is known to collectors as the "B" version, exceptionally rare in fine condition, and contains several distinguishing features.
It was the first edition to introduce a bonus playing card featuring the Unicursal Hexagram and the logo of the Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.). The cards have a bluish hue. The Rosicrucian verso art is full-bleed and borderless. There is no booklet (LWB) mentioned on the box and no booklet contained within, as this was not introduced until later.
This copy is in fine condition, and from my research such a condition is very unusual. The white box has some slight rubbing and marks. The golden box is split very slightly and has some rubbing to the edges. There is a slight crease to the O.T.O. card.
The deck itself is beautifully preserved. There are some coloured marks to very few of the cards, certainly an error from inks when printed. See pictures for details of condition as mentioned.
