1973 Samuel Weiser Edition of this influential tarot deck designed and overseen by Aleister Crowley then painted by artist Lady Frieda Harris, is known to collectors as the "B" version, exceptionally rare in fine condition, and contains several distinguishing features.
The cards have a bluish hue. The Rosicrucian verso art is full-bleed and borderless. There is no booklet (LWB) mentioned on the box and no booklet contained within, as this was not introduced until later.
Outside box is remarkably good condition compared to many you see. Some mottling on the white, and one dent which has cut through to the card beneath on the edge (see pictures) but there are no tears or structural issues as one often sees.
The gold slip box is the finest condition I've ever seen. Only some slight rubbing to the bottom face and along the opposing edges, otherwise almost as if new.
The cards are almost universally in perfectly fine condition. One is rubbed (see pictures) and there is a small stain to the OTO card.
All in all an excellent copy of this deck, if not as bright white as a nearer-new one would be, still very rare to see such a structurally sound example.
